One-stop Support Hub for Startups
Offering a variety of support for startups to connect,
collaborate, and grow.
The Foreign Entrepreneurial Activity Promotion Project (Startup Visa) is designed to strengthen international industrial competitiveness and develop Sendai as a global business hub. This system allows foreign nationals planning to start a business in Sendai to stay in Japan for up to one year for entrepreneurship preparation.
Sendai Startup Studio supports Startup Visa applicants through email and in-person consultations, business plan refinement, and Japanese translation of application documents.
The Sendai City Entrepreneurial Support Center (Assista) offers consultation sessions for foreign nationals interested in starting a business or who have recently launched one. You are welcome to seek advice on any aspect of entrepreneurship and business management.
